Telling WW1 tale
Blair Atholl Remembers is set to put on a one-act play depicting the experiences of Perthshire soldiers in Gallipoli during the First WorldWar.
The play, entitled Jock’s Jocks, promises an evening of drama, music and humour based on stories transcribed from interviews with soldiers from the conflict in 1915 and 1916, with music from Pitlochry’s Professor Gary West, who will also host a question and answer session during the interval.
Tickets for the show at Blair Atholl Village Hall on Saturday, September 23, which will include a licensed bar, can be bought at Tilt Stores, Premier Stores or Food in the Park in Blair Atholl, or can be reserved by calling 01796 481349 and picked up at the door.
All profits will go to the Atholl Country Life Museum.
