Blair Atholl Re­mem­bers is set to put on a one-act play de­pict­ing the ex­pe­ri­ences of Perthshire sol­diers in Gal­lipoli dur­ing the First WorldWar.

The play, en­ti­tled Jock’s Jocks, prom­ises an evening of drama, mu­sic and hu­mour based on sto­ries tran­scribed from in­ter­views with sol­diers from the con­flict in 1915 and 1916, with mu­sic from Pit­lochry’s Pro­fes­sor Gary West, who will also host a ques­tion and an­swer ses­sion dur­ing the in­ter­val.

Tick­ets for the show at Blair Atholl Vil­lage Hall on Satur­day, Septem­ber 23, which will in­clude a li­censed bar, can be bought at Tilt Stores, Premier Stores or Food in the Park in Blair Atholl, or can be re­served by call­ing 01796 481349 and picked up at the door.

All prof­its will go to the Atholl Coun­try Life Mu­seum.
