More M90 works
Motorists should see their journeys along the M90 become a lot smoother as a result of resurfacing works.
Following on from previous phases of improvements completed on Junctions 5 to 6, maintenance work is now being carried out on the northbound carriageway between Junction 6 and Junction 7 to repair and improve the road.
During the improvements, which are expected to take 10 days to complete and started on Thursday last week, traffic management will be in place for the safety of Bear Scotland workers and for motorists.
A contraflow system will be in operation on the main M90 continuously throughout the works to allow for the carriageway repairs to take place.
In addition to the contraflow a slip road closure of Junction 6 northbound on–slip will be in place with a signed diversion M90 Southbound to Junction 5 then back on the M90 Northbound.
A 50mph speed limit will also be in place for safety until the works are completed.
