Perth set to pull a crowd

Perth will be packed this weekend, as four big events are expected to draw in thousands of people.

On Saturday the town will step back in time with Perth’s medieval fayre and look to a brighter future with the first Perthshire Pride.

Runners will also be donning tartan as they take on the Touch of Tartan half-marathon from Perth Airport to the North Inch.

And the festivities move to Scone Palace on Sunday with the return of Perth Highland Games, when athletes, dancers, pipers and heavyweights will compete at a spectacular new location.
