Perth College UHI will open its doors to the public on Saturday, September 29, as part of Doors Open Day.

Running from 10am to 4pm, there will be guided tours of the campus and the chance to attempt landing a plane in the flight simulator or scale the heights of the new climbing centre.

Principal Margaret Cook said: “We’re delighted to be opening our doors again. We took part for the first time last year and it was a great event for our local community and beyond.

“We fit perfectly with this year’s theme celebratin­g the Scottish Year of Young People as part of our building was previously Goodlyburn School.”

Perth College UHI is part of the ‘Back to School’challenge. People who visit at least three of the education buildings outlined at www.doorsopend­ays.org.uk can submit a photo to win a Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust publicatio­n.
