Travel: Welsh Wonders
Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and England, and is well worth a visit. Standing tall over the village of Llanberis, Snowdon is part of a close-knit family of jagged peaks and can offer views of Snowdonia, Anglesey, Pembrokeshire and even Ireland. If you’re up for the hike, choose from six different paths to conquer the 1085m giant - The Llanberis Path, PYG Track, Miners’ Track, Watkin Path, Rhyd-ddu Path or the Snowdon Ranger Path.
Did you know?
If you’re not that keen on a long walk, but still want to take in the views, you can catch the Snowdon Mountain Railway that will take you all the way to the top of the mountain without breaking a sweat.
