Aman with the world’s largest collection of Superman memorabilia said his dream would be to open a museum if his collection continues to grow.

Marco Zorzin is officially a Guinness World Record holder for his incredible collection of all things Superman.

Marco’s middle name is ‘Superman’, and if you don’t believe him, you can check his Driver’s License!

Five years ago, he entered the record books with a collection of 1,518 Superman items.

It has already grown to more than 2,000 items, ranging from curtains to key rings to calendars, and even stuffed toys, costumes and film posters.

‘If it grows that much maybe I’ll open up a museum,’ he said. ‘That would be a dream.’ He started collecting his memorabilia in 2010, but wasn’t limited to Superman.

He would collect any DC comic-related items and popular and rare products.

The Superman focus came when Marco had to sell his DC collection upon exciting news that his wife was expecting their first baby.

He sold everything but the Superman items.

‘The hero that you like when you’re a kid always stays with

Rolling my eyes, I watched my boyfriend, Dean, 30, put his headphones on and pick up his controller. Boys – they were so obsessed with video games!

If he wasn’t wearing his virtual reality goggles, he was in a trance on Call of Duty.

I was glad to have my daughter Zuzanna, 13, from a previous relationship, to do normal, girly things with.

Dean and I had met working at the same printing factory in Derbyshire, years and years ago.

We’d been friends for a while before we became an item.

Then last February, I was popping out to Ikea to shop with Zuzanna.

I left Dean to play on his monitor, and cook us dinner

– if he remembered.

‘Can you remember to put the chicken in the oven?’ I called, above the noise of gun shots in the living room.

‘Yeah, sure!’ Dean shouted back.

‘Odds on him remembering?’ Zuzanna laughed as we left.

An hour later, we both returned home.

‘Is the chicken in the oven?’ I asked Dean, opening the front door.

‘Oh no!’ he said.

‘I only asked you to do one thing!’ I sighed.

If he didn’t spend so much time on those video games, he might not have forgot…

‘You need to try this,’ he urged, putting a pair of his virtual reality goggles on my head. Reluctantly, I agreed.

I turned my head as the room filled with darkness.

Then suddenly, a video of Dean appeared on the screen. ‘You’re probably wondering

why I asked you to watch this,’ he said. ‘Do you remember the time that...’ he said, as I reminisced our past together.

His virtual video continued to talk me through moments and memories that Dean and I had shared over the years.

It made me emotional! ‘Now take the goggles off,’ the video recording instructed, as I pulled them off my head. Opening my eyes, I gasped. Zuzanna stood in front of me, next to Dean’s parents and his best friend.

‘What are you all doing here?’ I asked, laughing.

I turned to Dean, who was dressed in a smart suit and holding a small ring box.

‘Kami, will you marry me?’ he asked, stooping to one knee.

‘Yes!’ I choked, throwing my arms around him.

I couldn’t believe it!

He’d filmed and photographed the whole moment so that we could both treasure the memories forever.

I’ve got a newfound love for video games.

Maybe his gadgets aren’t so bad, after all!

We’ve since started planning our wedding in my hometown of Gdansk

in Poland.

I wonder if they’ll be any more tech surprises on the big day.

I really couldn’t believe my eyes!

I certainly can’t moan too much about him being on his computer now!
