Dating back to the 1920’s, the Godiva Chocolates were owned and operated by the Draps family in Brussels. Their ‘pralines’ – typical Belgian filled chocolates
– were sold in large and fashionable shops. Over the years, Joseph Draps transformed the business and gave their products instantly recognisable gold packaging. In recognition of its excellence, Godiva has been rewarded with an appointment as supplier to the Court of Belgium. To this day, Godiva continues to be an innovator in gourmet chocolate.
