Chok­ing is when you suf­fer se­vere dif­fi­culty with breath­ing, due to an ob­struc­tion in the throat, caus­ing a lack of air. If it’s a mild block­age, the choker should be able to clear it them­selves by cough­ing, but more se­vere block­ages re­quire help.
