Your Dilemmas

Pick Me Up! - - CONTENTS - Lindsey, 51, Sidcup

When my son started learning the drums last year, I told my neighbours that he’d practise for no longer than an hour, at reasonable times. I said if there were any problems they were welcome to speak to me.

So I was rather surprised to receive a noise complaint from the council last week. My neighbours on one side said the drums have never bothered them. The other neighbour has always been a bit prickly, and now completely blanks us. I’m so annoyed that she’s reacting like this instead of raising her concerns with me. Should I confront my neighbour?
