Crunchy se­same seed veg stir-fry

■ ■ 200g se­same seeds ■ ■ 1tbsp veg­etable oil ■ ■ 2 gar­lic cloves, diced ■

■ 2cm gin­ger, grated ■ ■ 120g green beans, cut into 5cm pieces ■ ■ 100g beansprouts ■ ■ 1 red bell pep­per, cut into slices

For the sauce: ■ ■ 2tbsp teriyaki sauce ■ ■ 1tbsp wa­ter ■

■ 1tsp se­same dress­ing

1 toast se­same seeds by toss­ing in a hot wok or fry­ing pan with­out oil. When lightly golden, tip out on to a plate and set aside. 2 heat oil in the wok or fry­ing pan un­til very hot. sauté to­gether the gar­lic and gin­ger, then add green beans and cook un­til beans are al­most done. 3 add beansprouts and red bell pep­per, then stir-fry for an­other 2 mins. sprin­kle in toasted se­same seeds and toss lightly. 4 add sauce mix and cook un­til thick­ened, then serve with rice or noo­dles.
