One You’re in a million!

Hilary wilson has nominated her dear mother Valerie Kyle…

Pick Me Up! - - CONTENTS -

My dearest mum Valerie will turn 80 years young this year, but even the march of time hasn’t slowed her down.

She’s still involved with her church, as well as helping out with a cancer group.

Completely selfless, Mum also offers her time to visit older members of the local community.

Since she married my dad, she’s led a very active life! She was a farmer’s wife for many years and worked for St John Ambulance before moving to Scotland over 30 years ago.

Dad passed away four years ago, and we were there for Mum, but she was there for us.

Mum also helps my younger sister Fiona, who’s visually impaired, by taking her to weddings so that she can play her harp.

Mum really is a remarkable woman, and we’re all so proud of her. She’ll do absolutely anything to help others, and that’s why she deserves some beautiful flowers – to show her that we love her so much.

We’re all so proud of our lovely mum
