£3,000 in six months!

Pick Me Up! - - YOUR STYLE - Clare Foley, 39, West Glamorgan

You may recognise me. I’ve been in Pick Me Up! magazine before, after winning twice on the bingo. Well, here I am again because, guess what?

I’ve won a third time!

I’ve been a member of Pick Me Up! Bingo since March 2011. My sister-in-law played on the site and told me about it.

I didn’t take much convincing to join. I love bingo.

And the thought of playing in my own home in my slippers sounded too good to be true.

After playing around on the site getting to know the games, I decided Sapphire, a 90-ball bingo game, was my favourite.

My first big win came in December 2016.

My husband Peter, 40, was at work so I phoned to tell him I’d won £1,000. And when he didn’t believe me, I sent him a

picture of my account balance!

‘That picture has made my day,’ he laughed.

We decided we’d buy our kids, aged 20, 18 and 14, some presents with the money.

Video games, clothes, cash… whatever they wanted. It was lovely being able to spoil them.

Then, just a month later, I won another grand.

I was playing Sapphire again – just for a bit of fun while everyone was out.

I’d bought a few tickets and was watching as the games played out. Then…

Winner! a message flashed up on the screen.

I’d scooped another £1,000. ‘This is just unbelievable,’ Peter kept saying.

I never expected to win again.

But in June last year, I had to eat my words.

I’d bought a few tickets for Sapphire. And while the games played out, I popped outside to peg the washing out on the line.

When I returned to my laptop, there was a message on the screen.

You’ve won £1,000, it read. I was totally surprised – and over the moon too, obviously.

Peter was upstairs, so I rushed up to tell him.

‘You remember

I said I thought

I’d never win on the bingo again?’

I asked.

He nodded.

‘Well, I’ve only gone and won again!’

I laughed.

Seeing his face light up was priceless.

We jumped around the room in happiness.

We had a few friends’ weddings coming up. So I bought myself a new outfit and handbag and bought Peter and my son new suits. Having the cash to treat ourselves was lovely.

Just as lovely as it is to be a triple winner!

Though I still have to pinch myself to believe it’s true!

It was lovely. I decided to spoil the kids with treats
