Epsilon lithium ion battery

Super B’s latest lithium ion battery, the ‘Epsilon’, aims to make looking for fixed charging points a thing of the past. Designed for campers, the Epsilon SB12V1200Wh-M battery is a drop-in lead acid replacement. It weighs 12.5kg, can be fully charged in one hour and has a service life of up to 5,000 cycles. The battery is designed for 12V installation, with parallel connection possible (do not put in series). The Epsilon is promised to work even under extreme temperatures, and allows you to use multiple appliances simultaneously.

Other features include an internal battery management system that gives you insight into the remaining energy level at all times. You can read the load factor using your smartphone or tablet (app available in September 2017). A low selfdischarge of 10% per year means the battery works even after several months of storage. Priced at £1,499.
