5 Roseberry Tourist Park
Situated in the centre of the county and about 12 miles from the city of Cambridge, this pretty park is a great base for exploring Cambridgeshire and its surrounds. The 10-acre site was formerly a pear orchard and still has trees pleasantly dotted around the level grounds, creating a relaxing atmosphere. With both grass and hardstanding pitches, all of which have electric hook-up, you’re sure to find somewhere convenient to pitch your caravan. There are clean and well-maintained facilities on site, including a dishwashing area, a laundry room, a tourist information hut, a central play area and a heated toilet and shower block. There’s also a dog walk area – although there are lots of nature reserves and public footpaths nearby, where you can exercise dogs, including the beautiful Ouse Washes, cared for by the RSPB. In addition, you can easily share your adventures with everyone back home, using the park’s Wi-fi. The site is one mile from the village of Willingham, where you’ll find a post office, a supermarket, a handful of pubs and a takeaway. There is also a park and ride service just a few miles away, which serves Cambridge, St Ives and Huntingdon.
