The Ross cam-and-lever steering required only 2.7 turns lock-to-lock, despite the car’s ability to turn in little more than its length. Divans were publicised as having Kinmont Safe Stop disc brakes, as also featured on the Tucker. The fade-free Kinmont design works like a single-plate dry clutch.
