Do we love Reliant threewheelers?

Practical Classics (UK) - - YOUR SHOUT -

I’ve owned a Reliant Regal, Robin, and Rialto. They were brilliant little cars and didn’t roll over at all.

Les Hudson

Never been in or driven one, but I respect their longevity despite Clarkson’s moronic jibes.

Jim Munro

I passed one on the M42. He was sat at 70mph with a huge smile. That was a man living life to the full. It was an old R-plate, too.

Lee Jordan

I worked in a garage and was cleaning the pit out when another mechanic drove a Robin straight into it. Lucky escape!

Carl Shotton

My first car was a Reliant. Many happy memories and I still miss that car.

Rob Wesselink

I had a beige 1976. My daily drive was an MG Montego but the Reliant was more reliable! Then an attractive lady in an XR3 said ‘nice one, Del Boy’. It had to go!
