Wish we had a Practical Classics in the USA

You guys are nearly as crazy as my mob here in the USA!

I love your approach to cool autos and really enjoyed your affair with a Corvair. We formed one of the first Corvair Clubs in this part of the country. We used to round up a group of like-minded car fiddlers and we all chipped in to rent a larger garage. We could each afford one major tool: floor jack, engine hoist, welder, compressor, specialised tools, et al. We shared skills, expertise and muscle. Makes for some great Saturdays!

Seems like almost all the car magazines these days just drive $200k-plus exotics, which must be fun but completely misses us hands-on guys. Wish we had a PC in this country. Soldier on, guys and keep doing what you’re doing!
