‘Built from a pile of bits’

1967 MGB GT Wayne Tupicoff, Brisbane, Australia

I bought this car dismantled, and put it back together only repairing what was needed to get it registered. I drove it for three years until I retired, then I stripped it down for a full restoration – including an engine overhaul with modified cam, ported head and sports exhaust. The grille is a copy of what was used at Le Mans to get more air into the cabin. Sadly these GTS aren't suited to Queensland’s hot climate!
