This can be considered as a Marmite fish — and not only because they match the brand colours! People either seem to love these Koi or hate them. One thing I can say is that, based on how many we sell each year, a lot of people love them.
One of the issues with this variety is that some examples are just bad. You never really get a true yellow colour but when you purchase a true example from a good bloodline they can have a big impact in any pond. Two really top breeders of Ki Utsuri are Otsuka and Isa Kazuhiko and if this is a fish you want to add to your collection, one from these guys will go a long way.
