#8 Be flexible
When you’re excited about a location you’re set to visit, it’s easy to have certain expectations. However, as Francesco Lacomino (500px.com/ronnybas) learned, sometimes it’s best to roll with the punches.
“I visited San Francisco and I was looking forward to photographing this iconic road. However, when I arrived it was actually the traffic that struck me the most. The road flanked by flowerbeds contrasted really heavily with the cars driving on it. After watching for a while I knew that the cars were going to line up, so I crushed the perspective with a 116mm focal length and captured this shot.”
