Glass-house guard

Practical Photography (UK) - - Wildlife Photographer Of The Year - by Wayne Jones

On the sandy seabed, a yellow pygmy goby guards its home – a discarded glass bottle. I positioned my two strobes and then used a shallow depth-of-field to focus on the goby’s bulging blue eyes. This allowed the movement of the fish to blur the rest of its features.
