Classic Bike Live
(Peterborough Arena 28-29 October)
AS WELL AS our own Alan Seeley, manfully manning the PS stand at this prestigious event, we learn that another Seeley, this one a Colin, will also be attending. He threatens to bring with him all manner of machinery including a Suzuki TR500 racer. Whether this is enough to upstage Alan and distract the throng of autograph hunters eagerly thrusting biros into our Al’s hand is open to question. Only time will tell if there is room enough at the Arena for two Seeleys. Bear in mind this is the same Colin Seeley that built frames for all manner of British and Japanese engines in the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s. He’s a smart, approachable bloke with a wealth of info. Tickets are £9. There’s an autojumble and other stuff too, including John Mcguinness.
They’re classic bikes and they’re alive
