Hack to the future
Great magazine guys – really love it, but reading last month’s I was all of a sudden struck by a sense of being here before. As an avid Performance Bikes reader from the late ’80s, through the ’90s and beyond I was struck by all the familiar faces. Mark Graham is forever stuck in my mind being totally drunk swearing into a microphone at a PB frenzy, Rupert Paul on the front cover hunched behind the screen of the first RGV250, and Simon Hargreaves burning out his X7 rat-racer grinning like idiot.
So not only do you have all the great bikes from my youth you also have all the journalists to go with them! Now all you’re missing is the spotty Arai of Mark Forsyth and of course Trevor “too fat” Franklin to complete the retro picture! Glad to see the old hacks are still going strong!

Yes, we’ve nearly got the full set with Alan too, and now Damian as art editor. It’s a nightmare – JM
