A BRIEF GAY ENCOUNTER Based on Noël Coward’s Brief Encounter, and written and directed by award-winning Phil Willmott, this is Above The Stag’s gay take on the classic weepie made famous by Celia Johnson and Trevor Howard. A chance encounter at a railway station in 1945 leads two men to consider how much they must sacrifice in order to be together. This evocative, heartbreaking production invites us to consider how far we’ve come and how much we’ve still in common with our grandfather’s generation. Go to: abovethestag.com
