Professional Photography - - Agenda - Sibylle Bergemann

To celebrate what would have Sibylle Bergemann’s 75th birthday, this book takes a thought-provoking look back at the Berlinborn photographer’s work. Bergemann took up photography in 1976, where she worked on magazines such as Sonntag and Sibylle in the former German Democratic Republic, and latterly for magazines such as GEO, Die Zeit, Der Spiegel, Stern and The New York Times. She produced a hugely diverse range of work, from fashion to documentary, which has been brought together in this publication. Bergemann’s work will be exhibited in three Berlin galleries this Spring: Kicken Berlin, Loock Galerie and Schauhallen. [Publisher] Kehrer [Price] ¤48 [Web] artbooksheidel
