Prog - - News -

I find myself fuming at an inane comment I have just read in your otherwise excellent and essential magazine, of which I’ve been a reader since issue one. In this month’s Prog on Your Shout [in The Outer Limits, Prog 79] a so-called reader has the audacity to claim that there has been nothing prog since 1973. How can anyone who reads the magazine make such a preposterous claim? Your magazine has covered lots of modern prog bands, from the 80s onwards, even the old guard of prog released some excellent, career-defining albums after 1973. I suggest that this Mr Bumbridge get off his bum and check out many of the new and wonderful modern prog bands that are out there and give them the support that a new band will desperately seek. Apologies for the rant but people like him make me so furious. Other than that, keep up the excellent work.
