I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but I can never get my embellishments to stay put – even the self-adhesive ones! What sort of glues do you use? Amanda Gaines, Bristol

Kitty: I often find that some self adhesive embellishments often need a bit of extra glue to help them stay in place securely – especially gems! For all my embellishments, such as flowers, gems, wooden accents etc., I use tacky glue. Anita’s Tacky Glue by docrafts is ideal for this and is very affordable too (for more information visit www.docrafts. com). I find it’s a bit thicker than paper glues so it tends to hold the embellishments in place. Just make sure you give the glue a few minutes to dry before you pop your card in the envelope!
