Watch­ing the pen­nies with baker’s twine

1 Jin­gle bells Stamp a sen­ti­ment onto a piece of red card­stock and heat em­boss in gold. Wrap twine around the bot­tom three times. Layer onto white card and a green scal­loped square. Thread two gold bells onto twine, tie around the three lengths and tie into a bow.

2 The joy of Christ­mas Cut two tri­an­gles from white card, one slightly larger than the other, and wrap with baker’s twine. Add punched stars to the top and dec­o­rate with gems. Add to the card front and fin­ish with a stamped sen­ti­ment.

3 So sweet… Cover a die-cut cir­cle with dou­ble-sided tape. Spi­ral baker’s twine onto the cir­cle, start­ing at the mid­dle un­til cov­ered. Stick onto a paper straw and add a baker’s twine bow, to fin­ish.

4 Merry & bright Wrap five lengths of baker’s twine around a piece of green card and se­cure on the re­verse. At­tach white punched snowflakes along the twine with a sen­ti­ment tag. Add red gems to each snowflake.

5 Oh Christ­mas tree! Draw a tri­an­gle onto the re­verse of a square of white card with the point at the top. Punch small holes along the di­ag­o­nal lines at each side at 1.5cm in­ter­vals, then thread baker’s twine across the holes, as shown, se­cur­ing on the re­verse. Add a base, sen­ti­ment and ad­he­sive gems, to fin­ish.

6 Bauble trio At­tach lengths of baker’s twinet to the top of a square of card. Fold over the edge and se­cure. Cut cir­cles from coloured card and add smaller scal­loped cir­cles on top,t fol­lowed by a star and snowflake. Add a rect­an­gler of card to the top of each to cre­ate a bauble, then add to the twine with foam pads. Add a bow, to fin­ish.

7 Fes­tive wreath Em­boss a white scal­loped square with a swirl folder and layer onto green card. Cut a cir­cle frame from white card and wrap with twine. At­tach to the base. Stamp and heat em­boss a sen­ti­ment and add to the mid­dle.

8 Jolly holly Die cut two holly sprig aper­tures from a piece of red card­stock. Stamp Merry Christ­mas onto the cen­tre and heat em­boss with­c­gold em­boss­ing pow­der. Add baker’ss twine to the re­verse of the holly aper­tures to cover the open­ings. Lay­eraonto white card, then onto a green scal­loped square. Add red ad­he­sive gems for holly berries.
