This four-piece snow globe die set from Intricut is available to buy for £12 from Hobbycraft. www.hobbycraft.co.uk

Using foam pads around the edge, stick a square of snow-patterned paper behind the globe. Layer the panel onto black card with foam pads, then stick onto the base card.

Trim the other globes to add to the front, adding snow or star-patterned paper. Add a white label and write the date. Punch silver spots and stick one in each corner to finish.

Embellish the two blue layers with a glitter pen. Stick onto the reverse side of the acetate, pale blue first and then the mid blue. Stick the black die cut in place last.

There are three layers of houses. Die cut the back layer in black, the middle layer in mid blue and the large house in pale blue. Die cut the globe in white, silver and black.

Stick a piece of acetate behind the globe and then stick the white globe into the aperture. Cut the top part of the silver and base from the black globes and stick on top.

Add dashed lines to a 9.5x14cm piece of snow-patterned paper, distress the edges then stamp and emboss a greeting. Die cut the globe near the top of the panel.
