All Catapults obtain their funds from a combination of core Innovate UK support and competitively-won business and public sector funding.”

The challenge is open to small and medium-sized enterprises and is aimed at developing new innovations in rail as well as forging closer ties between Alstom and UK businesses. Alstom will also work with five other shortlisted firms.
