Ma­sons com­plete wall ex­ten­sion

Spe­cial­ist stone­ma­sons have com­pleted a project to raise the height of walls bor­der­ing the rail­way at Lin­lith­gow, as part of the Ed­in­burgh-Glas­gow Im­prove­ment Pro­gramme (EGIP).

The £650,000 project in­volved rais­ing the height of the walls on the rail­way bound­ary to pro­tect the pub­lic from over­head ca­bles.

The stone­ma­sons used 160 tonnes of lo­cally sourced Scotch Buff sand­stone to re­tain the look of the listed struc­tures.
