£10.8 million Low Moor station opens…

Rail (UK) - - Network News - RUSSELL WYKES.

Low Moor station opened on April 2, on the Caldervale Line between Bradford Interchange and Halifax. It is served by one Northern-operated train per hour, and by Grand Central services on the West Riding route between Bradford and London King’s Cross. The £10.8 million station had suffered a number of long delays to construction - most recently last July, when 200-year-old mine workings were discovered beneath the site. Northern 158787 calls with a train for York on the first morning.
