Paul wins RAIL’s D-78 competition

Congratulations to Paul Haines of Walkford, Dorset, who is the lucky winner of a control desk from a D-78 Stock driving car, courtesy of Vivarail.

He correctly answered the question ( RAIL 825): ‘In which year did D78 Tube stock first enter service with London Underground?’.

The answer was, of course, 1980. Haines will be contacted by Vivarail to arrange collection of his prize.
