DCRail ‘31’ joins anniversary line-up

DCRail 31452 has been added to the Nene Valley Railway diesel gala on October 13-15 that celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Class 31s.

The main line-registered Type 2 joins 31108/162, 31271/285, 31459/466 in being booked for the event, although the hoped-for attendance of 5518 (31101), which is the oldest operational ‘31’, could be on hold due to costs with road moves. Another ‘31’ could be added to the line-up.
