More Siemens Class 707s ar­rive in UK

707029 and 707028 are hauled through Ton­bridge on Oc­to­ber 14, on their way to Clapham Yard. Rail Op­er­a­tions Group used pre­served 56301 and UK Rail Leas­ing 56081 to take the five-car elec­tric mul­ti­ple units from Dol­lands Moor. The ‘707s’ are des­tined for South West­ern Rail­way and were built by Siemens in Ger­many. They fol­low 707001707012 in be­ing de­liv­ered to the UK, which means 14 of the 30 trains or­dered are now here.
