Wiring faults hit Euston services
Services to and from London Euston were severely disrupted over the first weekend of December when overhead wires came down at Wembley on December 1.
More than 500 metres of catenary and associated structures were damaged, as well as a set of points. Virgin West Coast and London Midland services were severely disrupted, and all lines out of London Euston were closed on the morning of December 3. The Slow lines reopened at midday, and the Fast lines an hour later.
Network Rail is investigating the cause of the incident.
