New companies for franchise bids

Italian open-access operator NTV, Spanish national operator Renfe’s public sector contracting arm, and multinational (including the UK) bus, tram and metro operator Transdev have joined the Department for Transport’s Pre-Qualification Questionnaire Passport scheme.

Passport holders are able to express interest in future franchise competitions without having to submit the same detailed technical information each time, saving time and reducing costs.
