Children in Rochdale aged between 10 and 11 have been taught about the dangers and consequences of misbehaving on public transport, as part of a joint programme put together by the local authority and officers from Greater Manchester Police.

The sessions formed part of the TravelSafe Partnership’s programme of engagement with the community, in order to help tackle and understand the issues and root causes of anti-social behaviour on public transport.

Organised by Child Safety Media, the events also featured sessions from several other agencies such as the British Transport Police and St John’s Ambulance.
