First piles at Brent Cross West

The first piles were driven at the site of the new Brent Cross West station in late October.

By the end of the year, 135 piles are expected to have been installed, with concrete pumped under existing track using specially installed under-track crossings.

The £40 million station will connect Brent Cross with King’s Cross St Pancras, with up to eight trains per hour. Main construction works are expected to be finished in 2022.
