£9.8m Harrogate upgrade complete

Network Rail has completed the £9.8 million upgrade of the Harrogate to Poppleton line.

The scheme involved replacing semaphore signalling and token working, as well as track layout changes at Cattal station to allow two trains to enter at the same time. Work also took place on level crossings to improve safety.
