Now it should start to be­come clearer why I used the Can-Am swing­ing arm with the length of thick-wall tub­ing in the mid­dle, rather than keep the BSA one with the one-piece front sleeve. The truth is, I’m go­ing to con­vert the frame to a sin­gle seat tube. As it hap­pens, not dis­sim­i­lar to a gen­uine Track­mas­ter flat-track frame from the States, which makes sense if you think about it, as they’re both go­ing to be do­ing the same job. So this is the start, and you can see why such a sim­ple bit of tube had to be so ac­cu­rately con­structed
