The co­coa in choco­late could help pre­vent type 2 di­a­betes, ac­cord­ing to a study in the Bri­tish Journal Of Nu­tri­tion. Peo­ple who ate 100g of choco­late a day were found to have re­duced in­sulin re­sis­tance and im­proved liver en­zymes. The study also showed choco­late eaters were more likely to be phys­i­cally ac­tive.
