This Chesterfield petrol lighter was given to me in the late 60s or early 70s. It’s 2½in high and 1¾in wide, with a depth of 5/8in. It’s musical, and on the bottom it says it’s called the Canary singing lighter. Is it worth anything?

■ Japanese made, playing music and advertising an American cigarette brand – it’s just the sort of novelty thing that collectors look for, Janet. You’d get £30 for it at auction.
