PERFECTLY IMPERFECT FAMILIES

In our September issue, Ada Calhoun offered her best advice for making your marriage last. For her, it’s all about accepting the imperfect, embracing change, and being nice. Many of you related to this.

“My husband drives me bonkers at times,” Claire Cox wrote. “There have been plenty of times when I have considered leaving, but I would rather be driven bonkers by the man I have grown and changed with than chuck in the towel. As a karate student, we say achieving your black belt is the start of the journey; it takes practice and dedication to maintain and improve your skills. This is very much how I see my marriage.”

Rosie Green’s column about the new school term also resonated with you. @Gemmaash10 tweeted: “Loving @Rosiegreenbq article in @Redmagdaily – I hear you! Bring on Sept and back to normality and peace #raceyoutotheschoolgates.”
