He may not have made it to the final, but it looks like Liam Charles could be the real winner of Bake Off after being snapped up by ‘super agent’ Vivienne Clore.

The agent – who also has Bake Off co-host Sandi Toksvig and spin-off show presenter Jo Brand on her books – has signed the 20-year-old after he impressed her – and millions of viewers.

‘Vivienne is one of the best in the business and has close links to Bake Off through Sandi and Jo,’ revealed a source. ‘She is highly rated, not least as she secures great deals for her talent and carefully manages long, highly successful careers.

‘Personality-wise, Liam was the standout star and the sky’s the limit.’

Another source added,

‘It’s early days but very exciting.’

Lovely Liam could potentially be in line for TV presenting and cookery book deals.

Fans were outraged when the drama student was kicked out of the competition during the quarter-finals – reducing both himself and presenter Sandi to tears.

However, his cheerful personality shone through as he said, ‘I’m going to look back – probably tomorrow morning and think, “I smashed it.”’

The budding baker also joked, ‘I’m coming for Paul Hollywood’s job in 10 years’ time.’
