I’m trying to actively work on my mental, as well as physical, health at the moment, because
I think it’s very important to have a healthy mindset when it comes to working out. A lot of people get disheartened if they don’t lose a stone in a week, so they think, ‘Sod it,
I’m going to eat a pizza.’ But if you have a healthy, motivated mindset, you won’t struggle with that.
Plus, if you’re stressed, then exercise, along with meditation, is a great way to relieve the symptoms.
I did this a lot when my dad passed away a few years ago, and it really helped. You’ll be less likely to emotionally eat, too. I recommend the app Headspace
– it has a new meditation every day, and it gives you time to recharge.
