I think it’s very im­por­tant to have a healthy mind­set when it comes to work­ing out. A lot of peo­ple get dis­heart­ened if they don’t lose a stone in a week, so they think, ‘Sod it,

I’m go­ing to eat a pizza.’ But if you have a healthy, mo­ti­vated mind­set, you won’t strug­gle with that.

Plus, if you’re stressed, then ex­er­cise, along with med­i­ta­tion, is a great way to re­lieve the symp­toms.

I did this a lot when my dad passed away a few years ago, and it really helped. You’ll be less likely to emo­tion­ally eat, too. I rec­om­mend the app Headspace

– it has a new med­i­ta­tion ev­ery day, and it gives you time to recharge.
