THIS CARBONFIBRE HELMET is really nicely finished and (as you’d expect) very lightweight: 1380g for an XL. The shell is quite compact but it still manages to house a decent, easy-to-operate dropdown sun visor. The main visor locks shut and comes off with a brilliantly simple mechanism, though the main aperture is quite narrow so the edge of the Pinlock is too visible. The removable liner is plush and the very long chin strap fastens with a double D-ring. It’s a good lid for a sporty ride: stable at high speed and the vents are easy to open and fairly effective.
