Where you’ve been and what you’ve been up to this month
Scottish Highlands
My brother bought a new KTM Super Adventure R on Friday. We left the dealer, turned right and headed straight to the Highlands for three days. He was delighted with his new toy. Colin and Brian Reid
Alto Campoo, Picos de Europa
This was taken just above the clouds in early July after lockdown was lifted. I’m on my Triumph with friends Thomas (VFR) and Eddie (Africa Twin). We had a great week of ride-outs from our base in Potes. Gary Marshall
Wankum, Germany
This is not the most magnificent place I have ever visited on two wheels but it sure did make me giggle!

Béthune, France
My first ride abroad in Béthune, France. It was a five-day trip to Cambrai with my Triumph Street Twin and my partner on his BMW R ninet. I was very nervous about getting on and off the Eurotunnel but it all went really smoothly with no dramas. I’ve now got the touring bug big-time and can’t wait to go again — but this time on a much longer trip. Alps, here we come! Helen Guest
Applecross, Skye
With a European trip to The Harz cancelled due to Covid, Steve, his partner Julie and myself headed to the top of the UK instead, through the Cairngorms to the start of the NC500. Wild winds, heavy downpours and 32°C did not spoil a superb 1400-mile trip past JOG, across the top and down the west coast to Skye Bridge. Steve was a bit apprehensive of the road to Applecross but handled the terrain superbly. A stop at the Buccleuch Arms rounded off a fantastic trip. Dave Miller
Eilean Donan Castle, Kyle of Lochalsh
A post-lockdown run with Alistair Morrison and Donald Mackay. We went from Inverness to Eilean Donan Castle, which is an excellent run. Very little traffic, beautiful weather and lots of chat about biking. Robert Stronach
Col des Aravis, France
Having had my trip to Spain and Portugal cancelled and then being unable to book a campsite in a UK National Park, I didn’t give up and decided instead to take my mates to a friend's ski chalet on the day quarantine rule were relaxed. We had an amazing time riding around the French Alps from our base in La Clusaz. This photo (L to R; me, Graham, Stuart and John) was on mountain tracks above Col des Aravis. My BMW GS may be 14 years old but it still scrubs up pretty well. Stuart and John had not ridden in the Alps before and they were blown away by the scenery and roads. Dave Coombs
Leeds Pals Memorial, Colsterdale
I was on an early post-lockdown ride across the North Yorkshire Moors on my Triumph 1200 Scrambler XE when I noticed a sign for the Leeds Pals Memorial. This is where the Leeds
Pals were billeted and trained until their tragic demise (along with other battalions) on the first day of the Battle of the Somme in July 1916. Mike Robinson
Clee Hills, Ludlow
This is my CCM Flat Tracker in Clee Hills near Ludlow, taking in the views from Shropshire back across to The Malverns and Worcestershire. It’s a great solo ride from Bromsgrove out to Bridgnorth and then back via Ludlow, Cleehill and Tenbury. Ian Perry
Dunblane, Stirling
Parked up at the David Stirling memorial at Dunblane with Jack on his Pan and me on my RS. Cliff Hall
The Hague, Netherlands
I took advantage of the lockdown relaxations to complete a trip to the Hague via Ghent and Boulogne-sur-mer. After months of lockdown, I loved every second. Ryan Simmons
Peak District
Bikers come from far and wide to ride the Peaks. I’m local so whenever I get the chance, I make the most of them on my Suzuki Bandit. Tara-jade Bowles
