I’ve been using these Flare Audio Isolate plugs since our off-the-shelf earplug test and they’re impressive. The aluminium ‘bullet’ helps damp out the low-frequency sound (buffeting) while they still allow intercom audio through. I find they fit much better than say the rhubarb and custard disposables and they are really comfortable. You have to replace the tips periodically as they start to go hard and they work best if you warm them before fitting but I won’t go anywhere without them now.
