A church spokesman said: “THE Autumn Fair at St Andrew’s, Dearnley last Saturday, opened by the children of the St Andrew’s Primary School choir, raised a magnificent £1,200 for church funds. The children sang beautifully and set the tone for a hugely-successful event.
“It was well attended and there was the usual ‘scrummage’ around popular stalls such as tombola and home-made cakes and jams.”
